Since we’re apparently talking about Ronnie Lane today, thought I’d post this tune. I hadn’t heard it before Neil lent me The Passing Show (which I need to give back one of these days), since Lane never got around to putting it on a studio album.  Which is nuts, because, well, listen to it.

And, yeah, as mentioned in the first two comments of the Awl article, you should check out Jonathan’s OW/OB Faces coverage, as well as the only one-weekend-only (periodically resurrected) Tumblr dedicated exclusively to the Faces (to which I managed a few contributions between assignments for an online summer grad class that ultimately didn’t deserve as much of my time as Rod, Ronnie, and the boys, honestly).  And if that’s not enough reading for you, Ian McLagan’s memoir, All the Rage, is hugely entertaining.
