Let’s never forget that this is one of the funniest, most clever music videos of all time. This is executed perfectly on pretty much every level, especially in how the very accurate impressions are contrasted with the ones that are just off the mark. Also, the Meat Loaf guy! And the faux Jarvis!

I like that the Jarvis Cocker imitation, as if to underscore the line “all the sad imitations that got it so wrong,” sounds more like Elvis Costello (album version here to compare Cockers faux and actual).
