Elika - “No One Gets Lost” (Always the Light)

This album isn’t officially out until March (and I’ll be officially reviewing it soon), but I’m pretty taken with it—elegiac electronic pop that matches spare, glitchy beats to simple, but inventive, vocal melodies. At some points, Evagelia Maravelias’s unmistakeably Cicconean timbre makes it sound like some alternate universe Madonna who got into the Young Marble Giants, the Velvets, and (well, much later) Autechre instead of dance pop.
